1/10, 10:30pm, New Heath St./Columbus Ave. A Mission Hill resident and a Florida resident arrested and charged with Class D drug (marijuana) distribution violations following a brief car pursuit. Officers allegedly found large amounts of marijuana on the passenger and in the car. The Mission Hill resident was also charged with providing a false name to officers and was wanted on two outstanding warrants. The Florida resident was also charged with failure to stop for police and driving without a license. Officers reportedly seized two cell phones and almost $1,000 in cash.

1/11, 3:19pm, Glen Road. Hyde Park resident arrested and charged with possession of Class D drugs (marijuana).

1/12, 7:12pm, Horan Way/940 Parker St. Homicide. Luis Gerena, 13, killed by multiple gunshot wounds. Victim apparently was shot on Horan Way and fled to Parker St. behind Jackson Square T Station.
